I remember I was in my Antennas class in the second year of my graduation. There was a notice from the head of the department that there will be a workshop on drones the following week. “What? A drone workshop!” I said to Pooja and was really excited to attend this workshop. The workshop cost around two thousand rupees. After hours of begging to my father, I managed to arrange the money for the workshop. I was waiting for the moment when I will hold a receiver and fly the goddamn drone. In the workshop we were taught the basics of flight and the 3D production of drones. I really loved the entire workshop. It was a week-long workshop. After the drones were made, we were asked to practice the flight. There were some skillful seniors to guide us. They taught us some tips to control the drone. I somehow managed to fly the drone properly but I knew I wanted a lot of practice. I used to practice after my college. Then there came the National Project Expo in our University. I along with my teammates presented the drone we made. We flew it for a while in front of the judges. They were impressed by our work. We even attached a camera to the drone. We tried to do a project to inspect weapons in a crowded area through a drone. Our project was super cool. We won 2nd prize in our National level Project Expo. Me and my teammates were on cloud nine.
