Today 26 Jan 2022, Congratulations to all Indians and wish you all a very Happy Republic Day.
It was this day in 1950, the constitution of India came in effect under the guidance of Dr. Ambedkar. We are the biggest democratic republic in the world. The day 26 January 2050 was chosen because it was on this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress.
Indians all over the world celebrate this day with great pride. The main Republic Day celebration is held in the national capital, New Delhi, at the Rajpath before the President of India. On this day, ceremonious parades take place at the Rajpath, which are performed as a tribute to India; its unity in diversity and rich cultural heritage. The parade is organized by the Ministry of Defence, and it is a treat to watch the might of Indian Armed Forces.
Our freedom fighters had sacrificed their life to give us the freedom and opportunity to celebrate this day with pride. It is because of them we are living a free life and not under any Angrej Raj. We all should be thankful and follow the path and vision those freedom fighters had.
