Happy Teachers day, to all the teachers across the world. In India teaching is considered as a most noble profession. Teachers are next to parents. Right from childhood till we turn adults, they are part of our life. They help us become good citizens and guide us to grow in our career.

5th September is celebrated as a Teachers day(Guru Purnima) in many countries as an appreciation for their noble service to the society or contribution in a specific field. In India the birthday of the second president Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teachers’ Day.

There are many functions or events conducted across the country to honor teachers on this day. In school, teachers come to school but they don’t teach on that day. Senior students dress up like teachers and teach junior students. Students bring presents to their favorite teachers and write letters as how much they appreciate them.

I am thankful to all my teachers, and appreciate all the effort and hard work they did. It is because of them I have a decent job. I request all of you to call or message your teachers and be thankful to them.
