Healthy and Silky hair with Red Onion oil

Do you have hair fall issues, thin hair, split hair, dandruff, lice, etc………then onion hair oil is one of the best solution. It is easy to be prepared and stored at home.

Red Onion oil is rich in Sulphur, Potassium and antioxidants and it helps in thicker and better hair. It boosts blood circulation to the follicles and promotes hair growth. The are a powerhouse of hair-enriching nutrients like sulphur, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and antioxidants plus are packed with antibacterial and antifungal properties to restore hair and scalp that is compromised on a daily basis due to pollution, humidity and unhealthy diet.

How to Prepare Onion Hair Oil:

  1. Blend Red Onions and curry leaves into fine paste.
  2. Take pure coconut oil in a vessel and heat it on low flame.
  3. Add the paste to oil and slightly increase flame and bring the mixture to boil
  4. Reduce the heat to low flame for another 10 minutes .
  5. Switch off the gas and let it cool down for couple of hours. The mixture would slowly start setting in the wessel.
  6. Separate the oil and mixture using a strainer.
  7. Store the separated oil in a glass container

How to Apply:

Take onion oil and put it on your scalp. Massage it gently for 10 to 15 minutes with your finger tips in a circular motion. Cover your head with a warm towel and rest for an hour or so. After that wash your hair thoroughly using a herbal shampoo.

Repeat this exercise 2-3 times a day. you will see the results in 3 to 4 weeks.

Note:

Some people might notice some irritation while directly applying onion pulp or juice directly on your hair. So it is better to use it along with oil as described above.

Also, the hair smell is temporary and goes away with a good hair wash, but the benefits you will notice will be huge.

    I know it is tough to separate onion paste from oil, but believe me the effort is worth it.
    There are steel mesh you will find it sore, or you can use cheesecloth to separate it.

    I would suggest using 4 medium size onion with 200 ml of coconut oil.

    Other option is to make onion hair oil:
    Take 1/2 kg onion and turn it into fine paste. squeeze the juice out of it using a cloth. Take equal amount of oil to the onion juice and heat it on low flame, add the onion juice and curry leaves to it. once you get a nice boil switch off the gas. Add dry hibiscus flower to the oil. Let the oil rest for a night. Add some drops of Tea tree or Lavender oil to the mixture.
